Package Information

Package Prices

Package prices are quoted per person and are based on shared twin-room occupancy.

Included in the package prices

Included in the package prices: Prices include all accommodation in Mongolia, all land transportation, domestic flights where indicated, meals, guide services, entrance fees to museums, concerts and national parks, horse riding and other activities specificaly listed in the tour inclusions. Not included in the package prices: Prices do not include personal expenses such as laundry, alcoholic drinks, beverages, passport and visa fees, insurance, airport taxes and fees, international flights, tips and gratuities, optional activities or any other services not specifically listed in the package inclusions.

Complimentary Fares

Look Mongolia offers one complimentary fare for every 16 paid fares on tour packages.

Single Supplement

A single supplement is available on most trips. If you request single accommodation, an additional charge will apply: US$50 per hotel night in Ulaanbaatar, based on a 4-star hotel, and US$35 per night at ger camps in the countryside.

Child discount policy:

  • 0-2 years old: Free of charge
  • 3-10 years old: 30% at the regular adult price
  • 11 and older: Charged at the regular adult price.

Payment

Deposit

To confirm your tour booking, a deposit of at least 30% of the total tour cost is required. Once the deposit has been received, Look Mongolia will send confirmation of your booking, along with details for payment of the remaining balance. A booking is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Full Payment

Full payment is due 30 days prior to the departure date. If full payment is not received by this deadline, Look Mongolia reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges listed below.

Special Arrangements

Earlier payment may be required for special services, arrangements, or products. Any such payment terms will be clearly stated on your invoice.

Payment methods

Payment can be made by bank transfer, international money transfer services, or online by Visa or Mastercard.


Contact Information

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that Look Mongolia has the correct spelling of each passenger’s name, as well as accurate address, phone number, email address, and any other required contact information.

Names printed on the invoice must exactly match the first and last names written in each passenger’s passport. Look Mongolia will not be responsible for passengers who do not receive documents or important information due to inaccurate contact details or incorrect passport information.


Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the package price. We strongly recommend that all passengers purchase travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings, trip cancellation, and inability to travel on the confirmed departure date.


Passports & Visas

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate travel documents for entry into Mongolia. Passengers should check with the relevant consulate, embassy, or visa agency to determine whether a visa is required.

Passports must be valid for at least six months after the date of travel.

After the booking deposit has been received, Look Mongolia can provide a tour confirmation letter to support your visa application. Visas may be obtained from the Mongolian Embassy or Consulate in your country.

If there is no Mongolian Embassy or Consulate in your country, a one-month visa may be available upon arrival at the airport or railway station in Ulaanbaatar. In this case, an official confirmation letter from Look Mongolia will be required.

Cancellation Policy

Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation charges will be applied based on the date the written cancellation is received and the number of days remaining before departure.

For tour packages, the following cancellation charges apply:

  • 46 days or more prior to departure: US$100 per person
  • 45 to 31 days prior to departure: 25% of the total tour cost
  • 31 to 15 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost
  • 14 to 8 days prior to departure: 75% of the total tour cost
  • 7 days or less prior to departure: 100% of the total tour cost

Special Events & Products

Deposit, final payment, and cancellation terms may differ for special events, select hotels and tour packages. Any special terms will be advised at time of booking and stated on your invoice.


Personal Data Protection

Personal data provided to book a tour, including passport information, health information, and contact details, will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to arrange the services included in your tour.

Look Mongolia may record your contact information in its customer database for marketing purposes.


Health Issue or Special Care

Look Mongolia reserves the right to decline, accept, or remove any person as a participant in a tour, trip, or travel arrangement if the Company considers it necessary for the safety or comfort of other participants. Any person who is declined or removed from a tour will not be entitled to a refund for unused services.

Before confirming a reservation, travelers must inform Look Mongolia of any physical, emotional, or mental condition that may require professional attention during the trip, or that may require the use of special equipment.

We recommend that travelers consult their doctor, a travel medical service, or a specialist vaccination clinic before beginning their tour.


Responsibility & Liability

Limited Responsibility

The Company acts only as a limited representative for clients or their agents in engaging the services of companies or other persons to provide transportation, lodging, tours, guides, and other travel services.

The Company and its employees are not principals, partners, agents, or operators of any airline, carrier, hotel, guide service, outfitter, or any other provider of travel services, and no provider should be considered to be an agent, employee, principal, or partner of the Company.

Neither the company nor its employees, officers, directors, agents, or affiliates will be responsible or liable for any loss, injury, death, or damage to any person or property:

  • Arising out of arrangements made on behalf of any person by the Company; or
  • Caused by or arising out of travel or other activities undertaken as a result of such arrangements.

Liability

Each person who participates in travel or other activities arranged by the Company or its employees or agents does so at his or her own risk and assumes complete responsibility for the inherent risks and dangers associated with the travel and other activities.

Risks and dangers may be present at any time during a person’s participation in the travel or other activities arranged by the Company and include, without limitation:

  • Adverse weather conditions and other hazards of nature
  • Strenuous physical activity
  • Accidents, whether related to travel, hunting, or other activities
  • Disease or other physical ailments
  • Contact with dangerous animals and insects; and
  • Political or civil unrest.
