Naadam was celebrated for centuries as a test of courage and strength of the nomadic people and warriors. People travel from all corners of the country as well as overseas to enjoy the Naadam festival. This celebration is held across the country, usually between 11 to 13 July, to mark the anniversary of the 1921 Mongolian Revolution.

The official Naadam opening ceremony in Ulaanbaatar is quite spectacular.
